AΩE is MSOE's oldest living sorority with a legacy of supporting underrepresented genders and groups in STEM for over 30 years. We are MSOE's only sorority with a focus on STEM, MSOE's only professional and social sorority, and MSOE's only International sorority. AΩE is a great way to meet other women and gender non-conforming individuals who want to uplift each other! All members who identify as female or non-binary (of all majors) are welcome.
A.O.E. allows you to build strong relationships with others while also helping you build strong relationships in our professions. A.O.E.'s focus on socializing and professionalism is what led me to choose this sorority. The people are also pretty amazing as well.
A.O.E. first came to my attention through word of mouth; I had friends within the organization already, and heard nothing but good things. After coming to a few of the recruitment events, I came to enjoy the people therein and what they stand for. What stood out to me most was their clear and unapologetic inclusion towards gender-nonconforming individuals. A.O.E. is unique in this way, and I am proud to be a part of a community that upholds such a sentiment.
For the sisterhood, it is obvious that A.O.E. cares about its members. I find myself easily making friends and bonds within A.O.E. and that's what I was looking for when I picked a sorority that would best fit me.
I wanted to be part of a group on campus with like-minded people. I knew that A.O.E is a very supportive and diverse group, and I want people like that at my side. I look forward to improving my professional development with the group and finding new friends along the way.
I chose A.O.E. because of the people and community it fosters. As someone from out of state, it is hard to form connections in and understanding of the new environment. A.O.E. is a professional sorority that I believe can help me develop those connections and understandings in a really great way.
I liked the members and felt like A.O.E. had good vibes. Having both the professional and social side was appealing and seemed like a good match for me.
